  1. Thanks all for your votes! Every one is appreciated and much needed thank you. And I'm glad to hear that JessicaRae, your passing on the tradition you're a good mother
  2. Haha I guess Alaska is the dream land to some and thankfully I call it my home. It'd be exotic to me to take a nice whitetail! I harvested a button buck when I was 10 but my dream is a big ole 12 pointer from one of the Northern States. Thanks all for the welcome and for your vote. If you can share with your friends about my competition, I'm kinda sucking in votes right now and have been trying to get my name out there.
  3. Thank you Steve, I used to not like forums but I'm growing on them and I do like this one so I plan on sticking around
  4. Prayers go out to you. I work in a senior assisted living home where we mainly have Dementia and Alzheimer's patients. It's very hard to see day by day what functions and memories are lost but all you can do is be there for him. That is key, so he knows he is not alone and it will be hard when he doesn't know who you are but now that roles have shifted you have to be his rock. I do recommend seeing a specialist, as hoosierhunter said there are drugs to help slow it down and advice on how you can help to cope with it.
  5. Hello all, I'm Cheyenne. I'm 18 years old with the passion to hunt like no one else. I'm not rich and nor is my family so I've never been on any exotic hunts but would love the chance. I live in Alaska and have for most of my life where killing big game is the life! I'm here to ask for your vote in helping me win the 2014 most Extreme huntress award where the winner gets a prized hunting package to wherever Tom Opre (producer of Eye of the Hunter) wants to send them. I'm dreaming it'll be me but I need your vote to do that. I've Killed bears caribou and even this year completed a successful registration hunt out of Valdez harvesting a beautiful Mountain Goat. I'd say they are one of the most extreme animals to have conquered! And not many can say they have nor can many 18 year old girls at that. I've been hunting since I could hold up a bb gun and been shooting a bow since I was 5 winning state archery competitions. My dad has taught me everything I know and I'm great full for that. The competition isn't about trying to shoot game out of sport but to crown a role model for the youth. With divorce rates so high we need more women to teach the kiddos our way of life. The motto is, if mum sees the love hopefully she will pass it onto the next generation. If you have more questions or need more info just reply but If you think this is good enough to cast your vote you can go to www.ExtremeHuntress.com/vote where you can vote in less than 30 seconds of your time. Even there you can read my essay on how I was picked into the top 4 finalists for the nation. Also every Sunday a new video will be posted to the website that was taken during our head to head skills competition down in Hondo,TX. So Share the website with your friends and vote away. Thanks and Happy Hunting!
