  1. I know I sounded rude I'm from Tennessee and wouldn't and didn't believe it till I moved here and seen it for my self

First of all I'm not getting on here to lie second I live in south east Kansas where it's not uncommon to see many big bucks in one day that's why people pay so much money to come hunt it south east kansas is in the top four to hunt trophy bucks every other hunting show u see is in Kansas u can only shoot one buck a year here people choose very carefully third I don't know where u hunt but here there's quality bucks and a lot of them

I didn't have my thick socks on don't know what I was thinking I stuck it out till 9:30 walked to the truck started it up and I seen a buck running across the field he ran by my tree twice and than left I got a good look at him when he crossed the road than cross back he was the second biggest buck I have ever seen anywhere tv or anything I'm sick
  4. I got to see my first buck fight two very big bucks wow they can get mean quick and they were not playing that would be the loudest sound in the woods it was over quick than chased each other around
  5. All that yesterday and didn't hear or see anything this morn that's why it's hunting not killing lol

Just in my stand bow still on the ground tied to a rope I look over and 20 yards away is a 160" to 175" buck but it had to b one of my best hunts ever seen that buck and seen one even bigger till he made a circle ad came in down wind to 50 yards than winded me turned and left also seen a small buck and this was just the afternoon hunt rattled and grunted 3 small bucks in this morning
  7. What I say is if it gets u going your blood pumping that's the deer for you buck or doe
  8. I rattled in three bucks this morning when before that there was no deer movement it is also my first time rattling
  9. I have crossbow hunted (I don't think they are as constant as a compound bow),muzzle loader, rifle I do like the rifle but I think I will only bow hunt from now on I enjoy the........well all of it even if I have a buck tag at the en of the year
  10. I'm in SE Kansas and I was in a field working on a tractor there was 100 geese landing and many groups of ducks flying the river last week but as u I'm too busy bow hunting also this is my first year as a bow hunter

  12. I haven't got the hang of waiting for them real big one to come by bc I'm so happy to see and get the 150+ plus u can only get one buck a year here in Kansas
  13. Yea I know I've usually been out there and know more right now it's kinda hit and miss
  14. There in Kansas even on walkin land that is public I'm from Tennessee and have been amazed since I moved here and have only stayed here for the hunting lol it's very close to 1 to 1 doe to buck it's very cool
  15. Walk the outside of the field if it's a field that u r hunting or if it's a open set of woods than walk the edges of it where it turns thick either one will let you know where the trail is that they use that will get u in the spot to see deer
  16. That is very true u have that everywhere and it sucks almost unstoppable what I hate the most is when people take my stand or ground blind or trail camera ( that hasn't happened at the new hunting land)
  17. I'm feeling very lucky I just got all that land to hunt with two creeks some woods corn and beans also some crp and got to hunt it by just asking extremely lucky in one of the best big buck states
  18. Some do in feeders I have found u can pull them deer if u put a lot on the ground there's so many huge bucks here there's enough to go around
  19. Deer go to the fields for grain when the temp has a sharp drop it raises there body heat
  20. Have seen two 200+ inch deer by the side of the road since Sunday it's time to get a truck load of corn out to draw the does in they will follow its legal in this state
  21. I've seen some very small scrapes but no bucks running does
