  1. That happened to me a couple times. Once I was heading to the land I hunt and the road was closed with no previous warning. That made me 25 minutes late to my tree. I was 8 feet up the trunk in my climber when he came by and bolted. Another time, I was all the way up a tree and a nice buck followed my bow as it ascended up the tree on its rope. Then there's the time I was texting my wife my GPS coordinates at the base of a tree and I got busted by a nice buck. I always send her my cords in case I don't show up at the end of the day. You hear horror stories all the time. I always wear my harness but who knows.

    Need Help!

I would adjust your site. It's too late for drastic changes with the rut underway. The whole reason we spend so much time fighting blazing sun, skeeters, bees, and snakes all summer at the range is so that when we punch our release at an animal it's a high percentage we kill it. That confidence won't let you down. Adjust the site, don't over think it now or you'll have doubts after you made your shot. In springtime though I'd run a walk back tune with field points and dial your broadheads in again.
  3. I have a 5 arrow quiver. I carry Easton Bloodlines , 3 tipped with 100 gr. NAP Killzone broadheads, and 2 with bludgeon tips for squirrels when the deer movement is slow. Those bludgeon tips really whack squirrels. I was skeptical after I bought them but they break there spine right in two.
  4. I've rattled a few bucks in over the years here in Ohio. We always seem to have a balanced herd and that brings a strong rut with aggressive bucks. When I lived in PA in the 80's and 90's it didn't work that well, too high of a doe to buck ratio back then. I use the original Pack Rack and it works great.
  5. They work pretty well. I use them camping, fishing, hunting, and just sitting around the fire pit in the backyard. They do NOT work on those black flies when spring gobbler hunting though. I wish they had something for them!
