First of all let me say I know dog driving is a matter of contention with a lot of hunters. I'm not well versed in the dog drive scenario and in fact have only been dog driving twice as a guest. There are certain aspects of it that I like such is listening to the dogs and then there are other aspects I'm not keen on but it all depends on the type of drivers you're dealing with. My question I have is about my CB showing good SWR and when I click the mic it does engage but only like one or two bars so the transmitting is really really week. It is a power mic but doesn't have a 9 volt in it but rather a small battery that I can't figure out how to remove. I'm not even sure if its the mic that is the problem. I'm also considering running a power wire straight to the battery terminal (fused of course) to eliminate bad connections and finding a good ground up near the battery. If anyone has any thoughts on the issue about the transmission problems and the rewiring please pipe in and give me your thoughts.
