My experience any 00 needs to be a head shot unless you're wearing your walking shoes. Stick to slugs -
God cut no corners on them pigs. They are tough. Like anything else a well placed shot will work but that .243 I'd have to stick in the ear just to be on the safe side. I've hit them with what appeared to be a well placed shot with 100 grain and never found them. Nevertheless sharp gun!
