Now that is a hunting trip. Looks like a great time. I would it as long as possible-----I don't think there is a better one out there.

CO backdoor is up for elk. I drew my 1st rifle season either sex tag. I knew I would it's usually a 100% draw. It was my only choice. Same place for the last 30 years. Bob

May 3rd, it's the 1st time in 35 years I won't be checking the Colorado DOW site. Bighorn sheep & mtn goat will posted & I don't care. I didn't apply this year.

Jeff---No luck here on the Gila elk tag. Just about to give up on NM. This is the old "Colorado Bob". Site wouldn't able me to get in on my old name & password.

Hello Tim I had to re-register here. Anyways this is Colorado Bob. I've killed 2 merriams here in Colorado. One was a draw tag over by Trinidad. The other was an OTC here on the western slope. Both were nice birds. One had a 10" beard , the other was an 8 1/2".
