    I used to buy hog mineral in sacks at the feed store. Remember to bring my Excalibur crossbow as well. They were cheap, and the deer ate them up. I put it out after deer season when the weather got nasty, and the deer tore it up. I haven't put any out in a long time; it used to be legal, but due to CWD, it is now forbidden (I believe the law is still in effect).

    I used to go to the feed shop and buy hog mineral in sacks. And don't forget to bring my Excalibur crossbow. They were inexpensive, and the deer adored them. When the weather turned bad after deer season, I set it out, and the deer tore it up. I haven't put any out for several years now, it used to be legal to do this but now it is illegal( I think the law is still in affect anyway)because of CWD.
