  1. Yeah, it can definitely take time for deer to get used to a new feeder. I've got a couple sling feeders I recently put out that they're still not very used to yet. You could try lightly grunting a few times during a sit before they come out.

I've been hunting from a saddle for a couple years and love it. I've hunted from hang-ons, climbers, and ladder stands, and my saddle is by far my favorite.
  3. Leupold makes awesome rangefinders, and so does Sig. I use a Sig 1800.
  4. Agree 100% with having to spend money if you want binos that won't fail. I've got a pair of Swarovski, but you don't have to go that expensive for sure. Maven has awesome optics. I've been able to use their B.6 and they're 1/3 the price of Swarovski and have awesome clarity, focus, and light absorption.
  5. Anyone used a Hawk Big Denali for taking out a second person on a deer hunt?
  6. For bowhunting, I'd say always use a bow-mounted quiver for readiness and noise. There's a lot of great quivers here, including both back and bow quivers. But I'd still say to use a bow-mounted quiver either way. For just archery purposes, and back or waist quiver is fine.
  7. Has anyone used a turkey vest with legs??? There's a few different options on this turkey vest article. Legs on a vest seem like they'd be heavy and in the way. If anyone has tried them, what did you think? Was the added weight worth the added comfort?
  8. I typically use a variety of pot calls and mouth calls, with the Woodhaven Red Wasp being my favorite, but has anyone tried their Pure Turkey 3 Pack?? It's kind of broken down with the different vocalizations for each on a best turkey calls post by Southeastern Bowhunting. If you've tried them, what are your thoughts?
