dogdoc
I've been a practicing vet for almost 20 years now and saw a first today. One of my clients came running into the clinic holding her bloody dog in a panic screaming that his leg is missing. Examine the dog--which is in shock--and sure enough there is a hole where the front left leg was. The dog stuck it's leg through the fence and the neighbor's dog actually pulled the entire leg off the body of the dog---including the shoulder blade. Treated the dog for shock then a couple hours later did surgery to repair the hole. As of now dog is doing well under the influence of strong pain meds. todd

buckee
Poor dog. He sure sounds tough alright if he can pull through this. He's got a good doc, so that part's taken care of. What breed is he?

NiteRunner
Holy Crap. Hope the little one recovers okay. Has a shepherd grab one of my hounds' paw/toes through a chain link fence, left a nice mark but nothing serious.
redkneck
Hope he comes through ok Todd. Last feist I had chewed up by a rottie cost me over $700 to put back together. Put some lead in his direction but he got away. Hate to see them chewed up like that.
