Jeramie
So I put this post up yesterday talking about the cold.... Forget that. Its colder this morning. http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=103572 Actual Temp is 8, wind chill of -8. :jaw: Its always windy in Oklahoma so there is a brisk 15 - 20mph wind out there right now. mike
I hear ya Jeramie! Its real cold here too. I am soooo ready for spring! Every year I get more sick of winter, I would move south in a second if I could talk the lil Mrs. into it!
ckrich
Yep, I had a little ice build up on my mustache this morning when I went out to start the car. I'm going to keep this day stored in the back of my mind for when it's 110 degrees in July.

And mike, take a note, our winters are very mild but our summers are EVIL. 106 is very realistic in August. If that doesn't scare you back north you will love the south... Jeramie
Oh, by the way...... are we suppose to blame this on global warming?

You're not too far off then. However, that 5-6 degree differential makes a HUGE difference. We do get 100% humidity here but it sounds like you can take it.... Btw, Tulsa was picked as #15 in the best and cheapest places to live in the USA (poll came out yesterday). Come on down, ill show you around. The Bug House
I've got 18 above and still snowing like a bandit. I had all my appointments canceled at work, so I bailed. I'm not even a teacher and I got a snow day! Supposed to be around Zero tonight, and 5 or 10 below Th/Fri night.

gzilla45
I was in the bustling metropolis that is Carney, OK hunting hogs. I'm glad it has been dry down there because it was nice not dealing with the mud like last year.

Shaun_300
About the same here. We haven't seen 20 degrees here in a few weeks. Which is pretty much normal for here. We're usually colder than this. Looks like the lows for the weekend and early next week are between 0 and -10. That's without windchill. ckrich
Im on Lewis (a mile from riverside). Ill be checking that out this spring... Well then, with that location you shouldn't have any trouble finding a reason to get over that way. There is a guy that only fishes for striper down there and he writes a blog and throws out some decent tips. I'll see if I can dig it up for you. Jeramie
Got up this morning and it was 7-degrees at the house. The radio said this is the longest it has been this low of temps in years. Has to be that global warming. I'm just glad the wind laid down this morning, that wind chill was killer yesterday. Here's that blog http://okieangler.blogspot.com/ . It looks like he hasn't posted in a while, I think he and his wife had twins(?) last year so that might explain it, but there's still some good info in the older posts. wtnhunt
Actual temp here was 9 this morning, luckily not much wind. Looks like another day that it won't get to the freezing mark. Forecasters are calling for warmer temps this weekend though.
