This is a little town of 7000 people in central Iowa, these things don't usually happen here. Heard they only got away with $30 bucks for their troubles, serves them right! Back when I was just out of high school I had a friend that worked at the local mobile gas station. One night a guy in a ski mask walks in with a gun and demands all the money. Like I said things like that don't happen here - she thought it was her boyfriend playing a very stupid trick. So she starts smarting off to the guy, she takes the money out of the register and starts laughing and saying "oh is this what you want" and tossing the money in the air and playing with it. The guy starts getting really irked and demands the money again, she laughs and calls him by her boyfriends name and tells him he's going to have to find a way through the bulletproof glass between them or try to bust through the steel door with multiple locks to get in to the cash register. While she laughed and acted like she was calling the cops the guy got frustrated and left. She later found out that it wasn't her boyfriend and that there were other local gas stations that were robbed that night. She turned about 10 shades whiter than a white sheet.
