Turkeygirl
gets boring, lol. Every now and then I wonder, "Is God going to send me the right guy one of these days?" I was watching a hunting show this morning with "America's Favorite Hunting Couple" and it got me to thinking how I do wish sometimes I had someone close to go hunting with, go to 3D shoots, go fishing, etc...etc...Someone to share in the fun and excitement. Don't get me wrong, it's great to be independent, but I don't go anywhere 1/2 the time because I don't have a good friend who is enthusiastic about hunting and the outdoors and would enjoy stuff like that. Most of my pals from camp live out of state or on the other side of the state. Anyone get my drift at all? Guess it's all part of His will andnot knowing what He has in store. gone_postal
Are there local events/clubs with hunters in your area Ruth?? Am sure those guys would be impressed with your skills and knowledge if you were to join in! Also with so many singles websites out there, there surely are male hunters with that same problem! BTW, Isn't Randy Oitker single?? Just sayin.......Good luck and don't give up!

I couln't imagine being single trying to find someone. These days it is hard to know who to trust. Follow your heart and it'll happen. Good luck. Alisha
Ruth, take it from me on the dating thing...... I dated the same guy for almost 6 years that was a non-hunter/non-fisherman and it was the worst waste of time in my entire life. There's no sense in wasting time on the wrong type of guy, which I did. I think it's great that you are taking your time and know what you want. What's the old saying....... good things come to those who wait.
juniorbud8
turkeygirl! I feel your pain!! I too am single and sometimes it sucks. I want to go to the ASA in Gainesville, but have no one to help split the bill for driving, hotel etc. I have guy friends, but sometimes its nice to go with girls. You can't always meet guys when you have guy friends with you!!! Shame we didn't live closer!! Good Luck!

What's the old saying....... good things come to those who wait. It was my wife that got me back into hunting. I am retired and have problems walking so I quit hunting. I do fall allot and have hard time picking myself off the ground. She is there to help me get back up. You will find someone just hang in there. Lots of guys love an outdoor woman. Turkeygirl
Well let's just say I'm in no rush now, especially since I was working in urgent care tonight and got completely "hit on" by a guy patient....I knew right away what he was doing! LOL. The other RN I was working with, found it hilarious...I think he liked his EKG too much.... Some ship ya sent Tecumseh, LOL (jk)
The Kid
being a guy and knowing other guys, the wait is going to be worth it, it may take awhile but you want to find one that has the same beliefs and morals and likes that you do. If you want to find a guy that likes the same things you do, make conversation with "prospects" when you go on your 3D shoots or when you do the things you love to do! There should be a few that live in New York lol

PotashRLS
You have it better than most Ruth....................Urgent Care/Triage Nurse. You have all the information you need on a person before you even get to know them. Medical history, Occupation, Marital Status, Insurance. You can weed them out quick! Just sit back and let them come to you.
