wtnhunt
Considered building one after getting my rock river Steve, but I had dpms build me a .308, only took like 13 months. I may still build one one of these days, looks like lowers have come down some since I bought my .308. Don't know much about the 6.8 or 6 mm ppc. What are you looking for long range target, varmint, tactical....? You planning your build on a .223 lower?
BowtechTurkeyHunter
Yep it will be on an ar15 lowerbi have a stripped stag lower already so hard part is done I'm thinking about just buying it one piece at a time instead of a kit and doing it that way. My next gun will be a ar10 lower with. 308 match barrell for long range shooting but that's down the road. I could just buy an upper for my dpms but I already have this lower so I think it would be fun.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Lots of folks around here have the 6.8 platform for hog hunting. Excellent round out to 150 yards or so, which is plenty for hogs. I'm seeing more and more of them set up with suppressors and night vision optics too. The hog situation is getting serious and people are starting to invest some serious money into the tools to get rid of them.
