WIwhitetailhunter
Here is the 6-pointer I shot with the rifle in November of 2010: Here is the 6-pointer I shot with the bow in November 2005: Here they are together: Both these bucks were shot within 50 yards of each other. They both took their last breath and steps on the same deer trail.

WIwhitetailhunter
you got me curious. did you notice any injuries to these deer or do you think this is genetics? either way cool coincidence. The 2005 deer looks as if it may have been struck by a car. The lower jaw on the same side as the abnormal rack is curved in. I had this deer on camera many times during the year. Whatever happened to it happened early in the year. I noticed nothing out of the ordinary about it otherwise. I'd seen this deer several times while on stand. It didn't walk as if I had any injury. I also didn't notice anything when field dressing it. The 2010 deer looks like it was just sporting what Mother Nature gave it. No damage. Maybe it's the water. I may stop drinking out of the tap! Whatever the reason, I now have quite the conversation piece hanging in the living room!

wtnhunt
Base on the 2005 deer sure looks like he may have had antler damage while growing. Pretty cool, definitely makes for interesting conversation pieces.
