colorado bob
Remember the lite hit I had this past elk season. I just got back from the range where I had the same problem. If I put the shell into the chamber or half way in----close the bolt---I'll have a lite hit. If I put the shell into the magazine & let the bolt pick it up---it will fire. Tried both factory & handloads----same results. Gun is about 5 years old, original owner, nothing done to it-----just like it came from Finland. It's had a couple hundred rounds thru it. Just about all were factory Remington. Any ideas. CB

Strut10
Contact Tika and get their input. Lynn That's about the best advice I could give you, too. With only a couple hundred rounds thru the gun, Tikka should examine it and stand behind it 100%.
