floor finishing, about done

Pretty much done with the main floor, got another coat to put on in the kids closets and the loft, wanted the loft to cure a bit more before putting on the last coat. Think they turned out ok all things considered, did end up with some lambswool hairs in the finish that I should be able to clean out. Sheen will dull some as it cures. Some before pics in this thread http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=103369.

After 3 coats.

Was really not bad Steve, might have been a bit easier had it been at a warmer time of the year. Waiting between coats is the most time consuming part. If you do plan to use this stuff, would definitely suggest using a genuine lambswool applicator, I found that they hold and apply the finish better than the varathane applicators.

With the first coat I learned a bit about my plan for working my way out to the front as I did not follow exactly how I had it planned. First coat took a little over 3 hours not counting the loft, the fourth coat took probably less than an hour and a half. Prep and clean up of course take a bit of time.

The respirator is a definite must use with this stuff(don't know about the voc compliant stuff), by the time I was finished with the last coat I could tell I did not have a good seal on despite having it plenty tight. Did not have that problem with any of the other coats.
