Bowtech_archer07
170-179" here in IL. I have seen it twice. Had a shot opportunity at 25 yards on a deer of that caliber back in 2006 and I blew it. Shot right over his back.. Talk about buck fever. The next year he was killed 400 yards away and grossed 192". elkoholic
Seldom hunt from a stand anymore, so I'm not sure it if counts but in the last three decades I have seen three buck that were surely over 200 inches. In each instance I was hunting elk at the time, having filled my buck tags already, and could only stand and watch. The largest of the three passed by at less than 15 yards and I am fairly certain he had a record set of bone on his head. I still feel that the new world record is wandering somewhere in Montana. 3seasons
I let a 160"+ 11pt walk after i rattled it up (broadside 25yds, nothing between me and him but air) this year during a bowhunting trip to KS. My dad shot him about 30min later on his stand. He didnt look that big but it didnt take me long to get my head recalibrated. Couldnt be happier for him. He has always put me on good deer here in MS so I'm glad I was able to repay the favor. He is just about to make his 60day drying period, ill post the score when we score him. RangerClay
Chittenango NY. When I was a kid I when pheasant hunting with my dad. I saw one of those crazy horned nontypicals bucks come running out of the brush. It had points going everywhichway. I'm guessing around 170 but it could have been more. Crew999
Saskatchewan...218 7/8. I know because the buck was hit by a car less than a week later and the neighbor who hit it brought the deer over for a look. Sad, sad day for me. Rhino
Iowa...Easily over 200"...main frame 6x6 with split 2's on both sides...a row of sticker points too on both of his extra long brow tines. Made the B&C buck I killed in Kansas (184+ gross) look like a baby. Edited February 22, 2011 by Rhino

shedhunternick
Running the trap line one morning in Iowa. I saw one chasing a doe that I knew would make the books and couldn't even guess on score it was so big, turns out a few weeks later it was killed during 1st shotgun... From what I've been told it went over 200"
layin on the smackdown
Ive seen a hand full of 150 class and 160 class deer from the stand - and one that ran the tape at 178 5/8...he's on the wall...Illinois. i also got a real good look at a giant 14 pointer in IL back in 2001...I almost smoked him with the 1987 Chrylser Lebaron....He was stopped about 5 feet in front of my car in the middle of the road. Guessing he probably went 180-190, but i guess it doesn't count because i wasn't in the stand.
