hammerforged
Okay - I have decided to go with my Tactical Master instead of a Chef Knife. Next question, what pattern Damascus to make, I am proficient in Ladder, Raindrop, Twist and of course Random. I have also been working on a new pattern which is a take off on the Ladder Pattern and which was developed by Master Smith Jerry Fisk called Wolf Tooth. Thoughts? BowtechTurkeyHunter
Your Tactical Master knife has very unique character. It has very nice lines in both the form and the Damascus. My suggestion is to submit one like this one you did. I am especially fond of that exact knife since I own THAT knife what a wonderfull picture =) Thanks again Ross Steve

Hoosierbuck
That ladder is way cool. I may need to talk to you about that...after you finish this project, of course. Did I mention I really like that ladder pattern? HB
92xj
Any way to mix the raindrop with the wolf tooth? If not, I have no idea which one I would pick, I think they are all awesome.
GWSmith
Like that ladder pattern Ross...So when do you think you'll be able to complete the project?
hammerforged
Okay, after spending a good bit of time with my Playdough (Yes, I said Playdough). I have decided to go with a twist pattern but I am going to modify it with a wolf tooth along both top and bottom cutting edges. Playdough by the way works really well for seeing how patterns will play out, by using 2 different colors and alternating layers I can see how the layers play out when manipulated because the colors don't blend into each other but maintain their own space. If, and that is a HUGE if everything goes as it looks in playdough and on paper, this should be one very unique Lady. As soon as I have everything in place and get through some medical issues in the coming weeks I will start a blog on here with day to day progress and pics every step of the way.
