need2hunt
Just wondered if anyone out there has heard of it or listens to it? It's an old time radio variety show. I catch it every once in a while and really enjoy it, brings back some good memories of sunday drives on the backroads with my parents when I was younger. Anyway I was in the video store last night and just about fell over because they had a movie based off of it (by the same name) it had been out for a while, I think 2005 or 06. Had a great cast Tommy Lee Jones, Meryl Streep, Woody Harrilson, Lily Tomlin and more. I really enjoyed it. Anyone else a fan of a Prairie Home Companion? Here's the website for it I think you can listen to some of the shows there. http://prairiehome.publicradio.org/
redkneck
Never quite got it, nor do I care for the politics of Garrison Keillor.
Newarcher
Not sure what it is about.....HOWEVER..... Take an hour and listen to the Jazz show that comes on after the PHC. It's called Live from the Landing and features the Jim Cullum Jazz Band. It isn't the modern day jazz crap, it is Louis Armstrong, etc. Lester Holt is a grammy award winner who narrates and tells the story behind the music and/or people who play it and the house band plays it. Great stuff. New
