mike
Tried a recipe for making french dip sandwiches from beef roast. It was absolutely amazing! You guys have to try this. I would be real interested to see how it does with a deer roast if anyone wants to try and let me know. I didn't keep any roasts out of the buck I shot this year. 1- beef roast, or possibly venison or even elk I guess 2 cans of beef broth, or I used the beef paste base and made my own broth 1/3 of a cup of soy sauce 1/2 cup of water a package of lipton onion soup mix Bring the broth, soy sauce, water and soup mix to a good warm temp and simmer a few minutes to blend. Put roast in the crock pot, pour in mixture and cook til done. I just put it on in the morning and it was good went I got home from work. Thin slice the meat and put on hoagie buns with some cheese of your choice. I used provolone the first time but would like to try it with some horseradish cheese. Use the sauce left in the crock pot for dipping.
gzilla45
I think I'm going to give this a try for the Packer game on Sunday. The best part about it is how easy it is to make.
