ruttinbuc
I am split between the two. Both are old favorites of mine. When I was a boy it was all Bart Starr and Jim Taylor. Then who couldn't like the Steelers in their Championship years. I am looking for the Packers to win big....very big!

HuntingPA
I Then who couldn't like the Steelers in their Championship years. You mean like the last 30+ years ...LOL , Guilty! I don't think the Pack has beat anything like the Steelers in the Playoffs yet this year. Their short pass will be effective for awhile and it moves them down the field, so they will get some points, that is til he gets picked off by Troy and knocked down some by the LBs and it stalls, then what? Sorry Pack, if you can't run, your done. The Burgh D will be responsible for some points, and those points will be the margin that wins the game. Yes I am western PA Steeler fan, but I rooted for the Packers while watching the easy conference playoff games cause of their low seed and the fact that their fans are a bunch of cold weather deer hunters just like us... ENJOY IT!!
rockadj27
Like others, I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. There simply is no other team that could ever replace them as my favorite, win or lose. I'm old enough to remember SB's XIII and XIV going forward. I am really looking forward to this game. Look for LaMarr Woodley to have a big night. GO STEELERS!!

While I agree with the average at best running game not being a force to deal with, I don't exactly think beating the Eagles in Philly and the Falcons in Atlanta was a cake walk. The Packers took control of the momentum/clock in those games which took the opponent out of there game plan enough to disrupt the whole thing. The Eagles and Falcons would have certainly been a formidable opponent for the Steelers. The Bears just self destructed. Spontaneous Combustion!!!!! gzilla45
I have a feeling that Rodgers is going to torch the secondary of the Steelers. I expect to see a lot of a 4 receiver set with a FB or TE helping to block. The quick pass will be open if they blitz and the deep ball to Jennings will be there if they play coverage. We will run the ball enough to keep playaction open but I'm guessing that will be it.

wtnhunt
In case you have not heard. No cheerleaders this year. :boo: LOL. When was the last time 2 teams without cheerleaders ended up in the superbowl. Think there are like 6 teams that don't have them. Think the Steelers will win by 4. gzilla45
With Big Ben playing in the game it's probably a good idea there aren't any cheerleaders around.
