mitrrophybowhunter
Re: Cresting!!!!!!!!!! you probably have seen it on hunting shows. It is a wrap on the back of the arrow (from the nock up) about 6 inches that covers your arrow. The purpose is to increase visibility of the flight of your arrow. They are usually white with other colors
JimPic
Re: Cresting!!!!!!!!!! If you use the cresting wraps,it's pretty easy.If you use paints and a cresting machine(which I do),it's still pretty easy but a little more involved. With the wraps all you need is a mousepad-I believe instructions on how to apply them come with the packaging. AJ
Re: Cresting!!!!!!!!!! [ QUOTE ] is there any shaft prep that I should do before applying the wraps ?? [/ QUOTE ] I just give them a quick degrease with acetone. A quick wipe down and from then on, do not touch that part of the shaft with your fingers. Rubbing alcohol leaves a residue. I love the Quik Spin vanes. They have given the best broadhead accuracy so far. Since I don't (won't) use mechanicals, they allow me to shoot fixed blade broadheads as accurate as I can shot them out to 50 yards.
