jcwa
I think I know where that's at. Is it the North bound side of 288 south of down town? I'm now sure but I know i've been by there.

jcwa
I was way off. The apartments in the back ground looks like some over off 288. Now I know where that's at.

PotashRLS
Hey Jeff, where is all your erosion control. Our Dept of Natural Resources woulda shut that down quick. If you turn over a rock up here, you better have an erosion control plan and measures in place. Do you guys get hammered with red tape like that on projects? There is a LARGE scale road project beginning around the Green Bay area on the 41-141 Hwy corridor. Imagine doing what you do straight through the dead of winter. Heavy construction guys don't often get the pat on the back they have coming. They really help keep things rolling smooth. That project won't by chance affect any Packer Fans commuting to the game will it?
texastrophies
If you look right at the top of the channel, we have silt fence lining it to keep the silt out of the channel. And what you can't see is another run of silt fence further down the slope as well. Yes we do get hammered as well. Winter???? We work straight through winter as well:flex::flex::flex: Any packers fan affected by our work are lost and won't be making it to the game anyways. PotashRLS
Has the Round A Bout crazy hit down there? Our DOT is running up the cost of road work and putting them EVERYWHERE!!!!
texastrophies
Not in the Houston area, and I hope they don't start. Our big initiative the last couple of years is "Going Green" The DOT has spent millions on trees and plants, only to have a lot of them die and the ones that do survive they have them planted so close they can't mow and it just makes the median areas look trashy in my opinion.
