Dawg
Nope. I got 3 minutes in and lost interest. Looks to be another cookie cutter show to me.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Nope. I got 3 minutes in and lost interest. Looks to be another cookie cutter show to me. Same here, OK I got a bit farther than 3 minutes but still I lost interest. Honestly, I really don't need all of this high production fancy editing in a hunting show. It seems they are putting more time and effort into making these shows "pretty" with all of the cut aways, and dramatic effects and not focusing on what (IMO) we really want to see, which is quality uncut footage of the hunt. 92xj
yes, helo footage is awesome by the way. Seems wild and crazy, which I can relate too. The video shots are pretty awesome. I would watch it if it came on basic cable. The only channel I get that shows hunting is versus. I would like to see more hunting, but I understand this is an intro to the new show and would assume that all the shows will not be all talking and no hunting. ruttinbuc
Not at all!. I don't like Chris Bracket enough to have him in my face a thousand times in 10 minutes. I thought I was watching the Twilight Zone. The clip has dark overtones. Is this supposed to be hip or just to show some people went to editing school? Strange people at that. The word to best describe this is MACABRE
KirkV
Not at ALL! I feel sorry for Zac Brown Band being teamed up with Chris Brackett. I live not too far from him and most people here do not like the guy at all. He is soooooo full of himself it makes ya puke. That comes across in the show as well and most can see that. I always turn the channel to anything else than Brackett like ..... Lawrence Welk! IMHO
Ravin R10 man
Never heard of Brackett..first 30 seconds turned me off I did this and i did that..who cares?
ckrich
Looks like some great footage and filming, but I doubt I would enjoy the theme that they are setting up. Fear no evil? What evil? The only true evil I have seen in nature has been introduced by man.

Alisha
Absolutely would NOT watch. I struggled to watch 5 minutes of it. :death: It had a very "dark" feel to it..... almost like I'm watching a Rob Zombie movie like House of a 1000 Corpses or Devil's Rejects. Don't know this "Chris Brackett" but he sure does love closeup shots of his face. Seems totally full of himself. Reminds me a lot of Buck Commander...... which IMO is the biggest waste of 30 minutes on the hunting channel. wtnhunt
Dunno Gary. I might watch if there was nothing else on interesting. Really not a fan of the flame and graphic crap added. Like others mentioned also got the impression Brackett was or is a bit hung up on himself, too many closeups of him and some of the things he was saying. I did watch it through to the end, not sure if he is trying to appeal to non hunters with his explanations or what, who is he trying to legitimize his reasons for hunting to? buckee
Hmmmmm..looks like I'm the only one so far that liked it. I liked the whole concept that he is promoting of "fear no evil" and how God has put the animals there for us to utilize and how cruel nature could be if we were not allowed to hunt. I loved it. I don't know the background on Chris Brackett, but it all looks good to me so far. a bit puzzled by the above comments though. I can see where he needs to get himself out of the picture a bit, and share the spotlight, but his message was a good one, regardless of how it was presented. The music sort of fits for the evil thing. The "let's say a prayer" at the schoolhouse with a snicker. His message is that he is the evil...He says so. "Fear no evil, this is what WE do." Then check out the eyes at 9:00. We'll see how many doe he shoots after his speech about Mother Nature and her cruelty. http://vimeo.com/17823303
billkay
Yep, looking forward to it. Far from the "cookie cutter" shows that dominate the time slots now. Where'd you find the link Gary?

billkay
I watch very few and none regularly. What do you think are the best shows airing, and why?

You see, he's playing the part of how the world seems to look at hunters as evil these days. He's playing the devils advocate on one hand, but getting the message across on the other. I thought it was rather clever.
Tominator
Bracket is kinda OK with me. He used to host Arrow Affliction. I could do without the heavy metal thrashing, but as far as he is concerned, seems pretty genuine when he arrows something. One of his shows showed him arrowing frogs, it was hilarious. This new show is a little too dark for me, time will tell I guess.
Muleyman
Not to fond of the name. Thats the part I hate the most, not a huge fan of chris bracket, it was good editing and all but not enough hunting. When they are showing us a promo of a "hunting show" wouldnt they wanna show us some hunting?
unioncountyslayer
I'm a Zac Brown fan. I guess if his hunts are featured, I'll watch it.
elkoholic
Short answer. No. Forget the gimmicks. Just hunt.
