woolybear
First time I ever tried this. It's amazing how much the stars actually move unoticed in a short time and the different colors conveyed. I took this one in "Bulb mode" and wrapped a rubber band around my shutter release button while on the tripod. Kept shutter open for one ciggarette(232 sec). Shot tonight in complete blackness ISO 200, F4, 232s. Thought it was pretty cool for my 1'st try. May have to try a few more longer exposures tonight while we got some clear skies for a change. woolybear
Awesome! You can even see the plane going past. Good eye!:1eye: I was hoping he would pass through without changing course. Sure enough he flew right through my path!

My other image storing locations were getting to be a real unorganized disaster.:camera:

You know, they make shutter triggers that allow you to hold the shutter open. Might want to look into one instead of using a rubber band. woolybear
I'm gonna pick up a remote now that I'm finding a use for one. Heck, maybe 'bout time to upgrade cameras anyhow.

billkay
Very cool! Next time, put the North Star in the center of the frame. All the stars will then revolve around it like a merry go round.
