So I have a standing date with this girl and I really like her so I want to put together a great first date. No dinner/movie thats been done over and over, I want something fun, something memorable. Problem is, Im not a real creative person so I have trouble thinking outside the box so this is where I need a little help. Guys what are some things you have done that your ladies really liked? Ladies, what are some things guys have done for you or fun places you have gone for dates?

Lets start from the beginning. What are your ages? What's the weather like? What's the closest big city? Answer these and we will proceed to round two.

Im 22, shes 20. It just snowed 18 inches, its cold and the closest big city is milwaukee!

Don't try and come up with something on your own. Ask her. If she's open and honest she'll let you know. Tell her your only asking because you want her to enjoy the evening and you want it to be a good time. If she plays bashfull and gives it the old "I don't know".................you got to give it your best. I know that Milwaukee has an amazing Zoo, given some decent temps, the Zoo is an incredible place in the winter. No crowds and the animals are usually active.

OK, Ohiobucks is going to have a good laugh at this one, but one of the first dates I took my wife on was to the mall, at first just walking around, but then I took her to some very nice clothes stores and I bought her a nice dress after she tried on about 50, and I actually sat around and gave her my opinion on every single one of them. Seeing her happy was a great date for me.

The first real date that the wife and I went on was to a hockey game.;)

It's tough to come up with good ideas considering your weather this time of year.

We have a place called "Dave & Busters" around here that's kinda like a Chucky Cheese for grown ups. Don't know if you have something like that up there or not.

I like the idea of a dinner and a nice romantic nightime snowmobile ride.

If you want to have a really good night with her, take her to a pottery store where they let you throw your own clay. Get on the wheel, make some bowls, have a little clay fight and flirt. I took pottery in college and chicks dig pottery. Even outdoorsy women, they will melt if you take them to one of these places on a date, followed my a picnic meal sitting on the hood of your truck. Even in cold weather this is good, because the hood will be pretty warm. Bring a blanket for afterwards when you recline on the windshield to watch the stars and talk about all her hobbies. Wait until the second or third date to talk about you.

Take her trap shooting

hey! there's an idea! then you know if she's a keeper. lol honestly though you could cook her something if you're up to the task and think you could do alright. that scores huge points. the activities will have to be decided by what you think about her. she might love a concert but hate trap shooting. she might hate a fine dinner but rather have a hot dog and fries. i know some girls that melt when you open the car door and others that would get uneasy, because they feel less indepent. Steve had the best advice try going with her to the mall and just talk a little and see what she's like. doesn't have to be just the two of you either. if you're both with some people then it won't seem like kind of a date and you might find out more.
