Seen The Light

Well my dad and I took yesterday and went to shoot some bows. I posted before on what to look for in the feel of the bow, alot of good imput came back, thanks guys. So I went to let the bow choose me ooo.gif. I shot different bows, different brands not even looking at the hoyt line to much. Many of the bows called my name and the power of the dark side is powerful in deed grin.gif(no bow bashing intended) but in the end the hoyt V Tec made the long drive back home with me.

I must say I had no real intention on grabing the hoyt(thanks Tony)., but after shooting it to compare with other bows I was looking at the V Tec was smoother on the draw, alot less vibration during and after the shot stood dead in my hand, and the grip was awesome for me. I wondered if this bow would be forgiveing enough for me since I don't have the best form but it seems like it might be, I certainly hope so. No more second thoughts smirk.gif.

Also the dvd that came with it is awesome, I just wonder where all them big bucks are at here, now maybe one of those big daddys will come to see my hoyt in realtree grin.gif.

Forgot to say it's 29.5" draw, 60-70#.

Re: Seen The Light

Congrats on the new bow. There's many good bows out there, you just need to use one that you like the best and it sounds like you did.

I don't care what brand someone shoots. Figure they must be happy with the price and performance and your bow brand doesn't affect me at all.

Enjoy your new bow and good luck with it this fall.

Re: Seen The Light

I shoot a Mathews Outback, and I love the bow. Probably won't switch from the Mathews brand. You are right about the power of the Dark Side...lol. That being said, a few weeks ago at a sportsman show I was playing with a Hoyt V-Tec. I didn't get to shoot it, but it was definately a great feeling bow. Good luck with your new Hoyt!!!
