Jeramie
And sometimes that deal really works out.... A woman I work with has her own mini-farm. She is a one of a kind gal. Hard working, not married, everything she owns is paid off, etc. She was telling me last week about an F-250 she owns that she used to haul off cattle. Its either a 1986 or a 1992. She couldn't remember. It has 180,000 on an International Diesel with a 4-speed tranny. For some reason it has a direct short. It use to run down the batteries but now it drains them on contact. She said the truck ran great up to that point. She is very meticulous, I believe her. It has been parked under a cover for a year dormant. She cant figure out the problem so she decided to run it across the scales for scrap iron. I can get by with a half ton most of the time but occasionally I do need the added umpf of a 3/4 ton and diesel. My tractor weighs 7000lbs so its too large for my F-150. However, my F-150 has been paid off for years so I had no reason to upgrade. I asked her if she wanted to sale it (would be nice to have in reserve). She told me to give her $250 and haul it off. Tires are still good, goose neck hitch, etc. This will make a GREAT farm truck as I don't expect to have more than $500 in it when all is said and done! Ill let everyone know how it turns out later this week. I will likely go look at it Friday.

Shaun_300
Man Jeramie, can't beat that! Get her fixed up and it'll pay itself off the minute you plant your butt in the seat the first time.
Flintlock1776
Nice, good luck with it! When it dies you would even have a unique hunting blind rusting away from many years that deer & turkey would not be afraid of! :jaw::gunsmilie:
