ChrisSeb53
Recently, I was at the Sportsman's Show in Harrisburg, PA and came across the WASP broadhead booth. I decided to give the SST BOSS fixed blade 100 gr. a try this year because they looked like a good broadhead and they were selling them on special (6 for $26). First impressions: - Blades are extremely sharp - Broadhead assembles easily - Blades are compact hopefully resulting in decent arrow flight - Trocar tip aligns with the blades I haven't shot them yet because it is still very cold here in central Pennsylvania, but I am extremely optimistic about these heads. The blades are low profile, but still give a 1 1/8" cut. I know i will probably have to broadhead tune, but that is not a problem. I just hope that they fly well and consistently so I do not have to move my rest to much. Does anybody else use these heads or any other WASP head? If so, I would be interested in hearing your opinion on them. Thanks.
Washi
You will probably really like them. They are a good quality head and even when not on sale are quite a bit cheaper than other brands.

jbadams66
I used the wasp hammer for a few years and changed over to the boss SST when they came out. They have performed great with every deer I have shot. Out of the 12 deer I have taken with them, all but two were complete pass thru shots. The other two exited and went in to the fletching. One of those was a shoulder hit and the other was a bad angle shot that went in at the last rib and exited just in front of the back leg. 11 of the 12 deer hit with the boss SST heads had gone down within 100 yards. Great heads for the money.
dbHunterNY
shot them for a little bit and the SSTs. I think the boss heads did fly better and have less drop out past 40 yards. mostly i thought they were very tough.
tedicast
I have been shooting Wasp Boss Bullets, 100grain. 1" cut for the past 7 years. Haven't found a reason to change yet. Great flying, dependable, rugged and they do the job. All this for half the price of most broadheads. My 2008 deer with the wasps...... BearClaw
That's a lot of damage. Haven't used them, I like my G5 Strikers but would consider them if I ever change.
