yea unless u own enough land for landowner permits those are good for all 5 seasons but u have to own i think its like 30-40 arcers dont hold me to it

the bag limit total is 3 but u can only take one bird per permit with 3 total allowed

Im looking for some info on turkey hunting in Illinois. From what Ive read there are multiple seasons comprised in the spring season. Is the license good for the entire spring season or just for one of the sub seasons? The ILDNR site doesnt tell much so am hoping you guys can help.

In Illinois we have 5 seasons, when you apply you will be asked which county and which season you want to hunt. So not only are you limited to only 1 part of the TOTAL 5 seasons you are also limited to 1 county instead of the entire state.

Only landowners with more than X acres (think it's 40 could be wrong) are allowed a tag that lets them hunt there own private land for the full 32 days.

Your permit is good for 1 turkey. IL allows up to three permits.

As a nonresident you would need a turkey permit, either an IL NR 5-day hunting license or IL NR hunting license, and a habitat stamp.
