92xj
Be on the lookout you northern people. I hear in the next couple of days the northern continental US might be able to catch a glimpse of the awesomeness.

Shaun_300
Last time I saw them was a few years back in the summer, calm cool night in late August at around 1am. I was at my grandma's at the time, took the boat out into the middle of the lake to get a better view, they were amazing!

WHISKEYSWAMP
According to this, there was activity on Monday and activity should pick up again in the next 24-48 hours... I've seen it a couple times around here, the last time being about 10 years ago... it is definitely a site to see so hopefully it shows up. http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20110217/sc_afp/usastronomytelecomnasachina_20110217095946
Tominator
Aurora is "Active" for tonight. I don't think we'll be able to see it in central Ohio tonight. Heard on the news today that there was a solar flare Monday that was on the highest of the scale I guess, which usually produces good aurora activity.
