hammerforged
Hey Strut would this qualify for "Off the porch" status? http://www.network54.com/Forum/451309/thread/1296928404/This+is+just+to+cool+not+to+spread+around

buckee
I wish they still made them. I don't see any reason why they stopped.

redkneck
Very cool! I really had no idea those existed. Wouldn't have thought machining tolerances and materials of that day would allow for a good tight seal to hold the air that long.
hammerforged
I've said it before - even with all the technological advances we have to our advantage we still cannot seem to come close to the true old world craftsmanship. A repeating air rifle capable of putting a ball through a 1 inch thick board at 100 yards and capable of 40 shots before having to refill the air chamber. No wonder they didn't have any trouble with the Indians. No sound and no smoke to give away their position when the shot was fired! I can see how the Indians would have feared that weapon as a gift from the "Gods".
Ohiobucks
My 9 year old son and I just watched it. Great video, thanks for sharing.
