Flintlock1776
In October I got a nice 6 pointer but for the life of me I could not find the arrow. I searced but no luck. I did find the buck however:tt1: Fast forward to today as I was shed hunting and there was my arrow with the broad-head in excellent condition. It seems the arrow went under a heavy pile of dead leaves. With the super high winds we had these past two days and the pounding the leaves took from all the heavy snow we have had this season, it was there lying clear in the open. Now I can re-use the broad-head and arrow or unsharpen the blades and use it with the mount. :1eye:
Straight Shooter
Good deal and I know how you feel about the arrows. I looked for almost 2 hours for an arrow this year in Ohio and finally found it about 25 yards from my tree. I had walked all over it and couldn't see it. I must have walked back and forth to the deer about 10 times before finding it. I know its not over a few month span like yours but I still want my arrows that I kill a buck with. magnatecsteve
Glad you found it! I know, it's like a part of the harvest is missing when you cant examine the arrow.
