Strut10
ALREADY !!!!!!!!!!!!! It's only February 20th, for crying out loud!!!! Me and Lil were out changing camera cards around 5:00 this afternoon. It was about 30 degrees and just starting to snow when we finished. We were just about to get in the Jeep when Lil finds a tick on his pants. I looked down and there's one on the leg of my jeans, too!!! Unbelievable!!!!!!!

Strut10
Whoa!!....it was 64 here last Thurs... maybe we got em out here too?? Probably. We had mid 60's Thursday and Friday, then 40 or so yesterday. Guess that got them cranked up. The ground is covered with snow now. Too bad they don't all freeze. Shaun_300
So glad we don't have those stupid things here! I think I've seen one that got on my uncle's dog. That's the only one I've seen up here.

Dawg
I hate ticks. Nasty little boogers.
Ethan Givan
I found 2 ticks on one of our labs a couple days ago. I cant believe they are starting to crawl already. This turkey season might be rough, because Im afraid the ticks are going to be extra bad this year.

stevebeilgard
i'll take the ticks and the warm weather. it's cold & snowy in wyoming. bring on the spring.
gzilla45
I didn't realize ticks would come out during winter even with a little warm temps. If they came out here last week when it got to 50, I'm sure those little buggars froze over the weekend. And the foot of snow we got the last few days probably didn't help their cause either. dbHunterNY
yea I haven't seen any yet, but they're kind of prevalent behind the new house. I've picked up under armor heat gear compression pants and t-shirt to go on under my turkey hunting gear. the only thing is it's black. in hind sight I should've tried to get the light grey colors. it'll still work the same though. i also toss all my camo into a Zip-loc Big Bag when I come in. That way if there are any on my camo they won't be in the house.
Strut10
i'll take the ticks and the warm weather. it's cold & snowy in wyoming. bring on the spring. Yeah. That was 2 days ago. Now we have 8 inches of snow and it's going to be 5 degrees tonite. Too bad ticks don't freeze.
Adjam5
We get them pretty bad up at our country house. I spread tick control granules, from Tractor supply around the house. It seems to work. The woods is a different story.
