Dawg
Is that pronounced poo-teen or poo-tine or poo-tin? Think I'll stick with my chili cheese fries though. Not much for brown gravy or cheese curds.

RangerClay
So I have some business to do near the border. So I says to myself, "Self, you need to call up your old buddy Joe and see if he is available for lunch". It just so happens I managed to catch him not doing a double shift so lunch was a go. I suggested it would be fun to try one of these pountine things that he and the other Canadians rave so much about. Heck, it's made with cheese curds, how can you wrong with that? I pull into Kingston about 11:30 and we walk to this little joints called Bubba's. We ordered two small pountine's and it was on. Just so you understand what I have below, I have french fries and cheese curds stuffed in a bowl, layered with super hot gravy. The hot gravy melts the cheese curds a little so you you have this ooey gooey heart attack in a bowl. It was DELICIOUS! :eat: In the epic battle that is Man versus Food. On this cold day in February, Man Won!!! Thanks for the great time and company Joe. See you again sometime!

I pronounce it poo-tin. Also heard it pronounced poo-teen before too.

stevebeilgard
Yummmm. I was in town today and should have stopped at KFC for some poutine. Can't wait to hear how it went! aparently poutine alone won't clog the arteries fast enough. you have to add "kentucky fried' poutine to get the job done quicker... lol it actually looks good. I had a picture of it the last time we made it, the wife deleted it from the camera.
