We caught one on our club once and they gave him a $250 fine. That was it. Just a slip on the wrist in my honest opinion. That's nothing compared to what we have to pay to lease the property. A couple of the poachers daughter's actually got on the site and started to defend their relatives actions! This kind of stuff happens all the time , if they do get caught ,which around here is slim because the agents are spread so thin ,the fines are to little they just pay them and out the same night doing it again!! Actually being Korean probably had a lot to do with it.Gall bladders, bear paws, theres a big market for things like that over there.I watched a show one night where they were catching sharks and just taking the dorsal fin off them and throwing the live sharks back in the water.Another one was about tigers, which are endangered.There still being poached thanks in part to a high market for different body parts used by orientals.Theres big money in selling parts off of different species of animals over there where customarily theyre believed to have powers if eaten by people.If they werent from the U.S. and were orientals, caught with just bladders and legs off of the bear it probably got quite a bit to do with it as a matter of fact Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
