danthehuntinman
Well I went and got the glendel yesterday and thought I'd try it out today kind of disappointed in it. I was shooting and 20 yrds hitting it in the heart and my arrows were sticking out the back of the target on the first 3 shots and the arrow removal was kind of difficult and started to pull the middle out of the target:angry:. Straight Shooter
Did you get the normal Glendale or the full rut glendale? The only thing I have seen shoot through the vitals, especially on a new vital was a crossbow shooting 405 fps. Other than that, I got several hundred shots before anything made it through the vitals.
The Kid
it's not worth is for me I just shoot the cheap block target at MC sporting goods for 30 bucks, I've had the glen del and the block 4 by 4 and by 2 months I was shooting through both target from 40 yards, they need to come out with sme better targets
danthehuntinman
I bought the reg. glendel buck my bow is shooting around 321 and the arrows were sticking out the back about 2 inches. At that rate it won't take long for my arrows to be going alot farther through.
Straight Shooter
Sorry for ya'lls disappointment in them but I am very pleaed with mine. I also have the block target 4X4 and have had it over 3 years now with hundreds of shots into it. No pass throughs, yet. I did on both of mine, buy the biggest they had in the Glandale full rut and the largest block, don't know if that matters or not.
danthehuntinman
Yeah it would make a difference because the glendel full rut is 3 inches thicker I'm pretty sure than the one I got.
magnatecsteve
Bummer.... Glad I work at a foam manufacturer company, I get my block targets for free. I think a lot of companies are trying to get away cheaper with lower density foam and thicker mil layers. The ones I make have more layers and much more dense, only drawback is they're heavier.
