Randy
I wonder if Walker included enough money in his budget to keep this project going...
Ravin R10 man
I wonder if Walker included enough money in his budget to keep this project going... I dont think he cut deep enough...thanks to the unions and poor management of the past two governors and panty waist elected poloticians...(like the ones who skipped town).. were broke and we all are going to have to suck it up now back to the topic of the thread... as far as I'm conserned, I know what is eating our whitetails..dont need any study to figure that out

stevebeilgard
wow. i can see from wyoming that it's the wolves. so, they'll spend bunches of dollars and come up with the same findings. goverment at it's finest.
gzilla45
Certainly interesting although anyone who spends time in the woods probably could have given them all the findings they need. Heck I would have donated my time and my land for this study.
Crew999
I like to see the studies like this. Up here our government spends zero money on studies and not much of monitoring of any type, they seem to just make up limits based on complaints rather than based on science. stevebeilgard
by the way. i'm not at all against studies. each year, the wyoming game & fish flies the areas in rented planes to see how many animals there are. they spend huge quantities of dollars. i suggested in the mid 1970's that they simply call each major rancher for a report on how many deer/antelope/elk are on their lands. believe me, the ranchers know their land and how much game is on it. so, do a study over the phone. the same could be done in wisconsin. each farmer knows the game on his place, knows whey something is eating them, and knows what it is. call the farmers.
