Been raining all day, we're right on the line of rain and snow but we've seen rain since this morning, areas west and north of here have been getting all snow, they were forecasting 16-20 inches in some areas. My son called me and asked if I could go to his house this morning and disconnect the wiring to his hot tub as he'd sold it and the guy was coming early in the morning to pick it up. Then he told me he'd just got his oil tank filled for his furnace after it had gone empty and now the furnace wasn't working. I had to pull the filter, blow the lines, bleed the system and reset the controls. Then he said his drain on the kitchen sink was plugged, so while he was making breakfast, I cleaned the drain out. The cooling fan on his 4wheeler wasn't working so I pulled the old temperature sensor with broken wires and replaced it with a new one that I'd brought. His bike was out of gas so I ran into town and picked up a couple gallons. When we started his bike in the garage, I opened the garage door to vent things, then he told me the automatic garage door opener would only open the door, but wouldn't close it. So I fixed that. I'd brought some wood for him to burn in his wood stove, so before I left, I cut a couple logs with my chainsaw so he could split them to burn this weekend. I think my kids break stuff just to keep the old man busy in his retirement years! Now I'm back home at my place. And yup, now I'm bored!
