Adjam5
Tim Andrus was in my neck of the woods booked for a few hunting seminars at a yearly outdoor expo and I had him and few of his... quite hungry friends over for dinner :clown:. Tim brought Steve Gruber of Wolf Creek productions and Deer City USA and Mark Millis also of Deer City USA over to my humble home for a home cooked meal of dynamic proportions. I cannot not thank my wife enough. She did it all . We had fresh Axis and Whitetail backstraps, Axis shish ki bob, mac n cheese, asparagus, steamed Chinese dumplings and biscuits. Plus a few tasty adult beverages . Then the wife broke out some apple and chocolate pie and we all were ready for bed after that . I wish I could have got a pic of all of us sitting around the table picking our teeth after the gorging...Classic. Having never met Gruber and Millis before. I found out they are just two regular guys from Michigan who love to deer hunt and are fortunate enough to eek a living doing it. They spend a ton of time on the road so I knew a good home BBQ would be a home run for them. I spent the day pruning apple trees and used some of those prunings to smoke the meat we ate. Tim was the usual ambassador of Realtree arriving with a bottle of wine for the Mrs. much appreciated Tim! Thanks! Always good seeing you. As far as pics...we didn't take any . No one remembered to do it. Bummer. Tim you are always welcome here in this house bud...But next time try not to bring such hungry friends with ya ...OK? :surrender:. Right now Tim is on a VERY hairy drive home in a nasty snow storm. I know he had to pull over it was so bad. Keep him in your prayers so he makes a safe journey home. Tim Andrus
just got home,,,mother nature hit me good this time. Must have seen at least 20 accidents over 100 miles.. Finally common sense kicked in and I pulled into a rest stop for a bit. Took me 2-1/2 hours longer to get home. On the other hand A big thanks to Anthony and his family for having us over for dinner (huge feast) felt like Thanksgiving!!! Lotta laughs and stories were told . This is where the saying Family, Friends and the outdoors comes from.. Thanks again Anthony for checking on me , you and Gruber kept me going.
