Dakota
I didn't draw my shotgun tag this year, so I'll probably just buy an archery tag and hunt the gobblers in the riverbottoms close by. Anyone else? What are all your plans? Dakota
wtnhunt
Had birds in archery range several times back during the fall, no season open then just how it goes. Seeing a few hens coming back around in the hills out of the bottoms, but overall turkey sign looks real weak on our property right now. Season opens here real soon, youth hunt is the weekend after next and the spring turkey opens the following weekend. Not sure yet whether we are gonna try our neighbor next to us small slough or a bigger farm we have permission on up the road. Gonna try to see if we hear any birds this weekend, and get a better idea for a game plan for the youth hunt. Hope to get Christina on a bird this year, don't think I will get much time for turkey hunting this year but will be shotgun hunting. gzilla45
My season runs April 20-24 and I can't wait. We have quite a few toms we've been seeing all winter on camera and I've seen 2 or 3 really nice ones. Hopefully my calling and shooting skills will be up to par. Ethan Givan
Our season starts April 16th and runs thru May 8th I think. Should be a normal turkey season for me. I have the same places to hunt, about 5 farms within 30 min or less of the house, and possibly a couple more new ones. Only difference is I may try filming hunts this year, and I may try to fill a tag with my bow if I can fill my other quick enough. I have not made it out to scout any yet, but I know there will be plenty of birds.

USAFbowhunter
Heading to south FL with my dad for opening morning on the 19th of March and will hunt down there for about 5 days then head back up here to north FL and finish out the rest of the FL season. Then I will be heading up to Illinois for their second season starting April 16th and I will hunt a week up there. Then my turkey seasons will be over with and I will start preping for deer season again.
