Stinger-Hunter
Fighting amongst ourself is not a good thing. The only good thing to come of it would be a good thing for the libs (liberals).

Rhino
Now, does anyone know how many states now allow crossbow hunting (for both disabled and able hunters)? Still pretty restrictive here is Mississippi...here's the rules. Special Crossbow License (for use during bowseason) 1. Anyone 65 years old or older 2. Anyone with a disablility that prevents them from using conventional archery equipment. The disability must ber certified by one physician licensed to practice in MS. The fee for a Special Crossbow License is $5...that is in addition to all other applicable deer hunting licenses. General Crossbow License The fee for a General Crossbow License is $10...that is in addition to all other applicable deer hunting licenses too. With a General Crossbow License you can only hunt with a crossbow during an open gun season or primitive weapon season...not during an open archery season. So although they allow crossbowhing for the "general" public...who is going to bother paying an extra $10 for a permit to hunt with a crossbow when they can only use it during an open firearm season? I still have another 9 archery seasons to go before I'd quality for a Special Crossbow License. That is unless I move out of MS before then. Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Now, does anyone know how many states now allow crossbow hunting (for both disabled and able hunters)? Michigan just expanded their crossbow regs last year to include everyone 10 and over For a while it was just those with a doctors permit, then a couple years ago they expanded it a bit, but finally they got it right last August and expended it. I have been bugging my dad to get one for a while since he can;t draw back a compound. I think now with these new rules I am just going to spend the money and get one and if he wants to use it he can.
