So heres the question posed exactly as it was asked .... What is the only state where you can harvest three different turkey subspecies? My answer was as follows .. Nebraska and Washington .. I know you can hunt Eastern birds in the east end of the state...Rios in many parts...and there are limited areas in the western part of the state near New Mexico where you can hunt Merriams. BTW Luke...I think you're right about Washington too. Not sure about Nebraska. You know...Thermacell could very well be wrong about there only being one state with 3 subspecies to hunt.
