Also if at all possible, find out if you have an Elite dealer near you. I was really impressed with these bows when I tried them out last year.

Anyone shoot or own an Elite bow?

Ummm....I shot one today and all I can say is wowzers. Super super smooth, lightweight, fast...Then I shot a Hoyt CRX and it was a completely different world. to me the Elite was way smoother than the Hoyt.

Hope to shoot some Mathews tomorrow.

Told ya so!

I'm glad you listened to me and checked them out.

I shot a couple of there new bows when I was at the Iowa Deer Classic. I was incredibly impressed with them. Nice smooth draw, great hard back wall and sweet to shoot. I've shot both Hoyt and Mathews over the years and I my opinion is Elite is right up there with them, they are on my short list for my next bow.

i wish there was a shop around here that really pushed them. they are extremely well made with fit and finish as good as anything out there. i believe i mentioned to ya that they're run out of rochester here in NY. i ended up picking up a target bow but when i was testing new hunting bows i really wish there was a Pulse somewhere to try.

I shoot the GT500 and I can promise there isn't a better draw cycle out there period!! I insure bowshops and I have shot them all and can buy any bow I want at cost yet I choose to shoot Elite. The warranty is untouched. I haven't shot their new bows yet, but have heard great things about them.

Honestly there isn't a mathews or hoyt out there(carbon Matrix included) that can touch the draw smoothness on these things. Go shoot that Z7 extreme and feel your shoulder come out of socket when you hit that back valley that is darn near 6 inches prior to the back wall.

The one negative thing I can say about the bow is that in the past the IBO speeds were inflated and the bows couldn't shoot that fast.

Happy shopping
