Tominator
If you could go back in time and meet any American, dead or alive, who would it be?
woolybear
Hmmmm, since you say American I guess that rules out my first thought of Nostradamus.:disolve: In that case, I'll have to go with the old lady that used to say...."where's the beef?" She reminded me of my grandmother, lol

wtnhunt
Think we did this before a good while back. Same as part 1 for me. I would go back to that cold foggy Sept day in 1971 and ask my father not to go to work that night.

Rhino
Tuff one Chris! My 1st thought would be to go back and meet my grandfather on my father's side. He passed away before I was born. My 2nd thought would be Bill Gates before Microsoft days and try to get in on financing part of the Microsoft at the start of the company. bfletch7441
My moms dad. He died when my mom was only 6 years when their house exploded due to a gas leak. My mom doesn't remember anything about him due to the trauma of the event, and my grandma speaks so highly of him. Ben

stevebeilgard
my grandfather. he was at kitty hawk with the wright brothers, he invented leading edgs slats on airplanes and flaps, he built his own planes and more. one of his designs was a butane powered plane, another was the l-5 beco brown. it went on to be the l-5 stinson of ww-2. he died in a twin engine plane in 1944, and i was born in 1947. so we obviously never met. but flying is always in my blood.
