hoosierhunter
Well I was worried this is what happened to him. I knew the neighbor hit a buck that he said was the biggest he had shot to date. I found him after searching the area for about 10 minutes. he died 50 yards behind the stand in some tall weeds. I haven't put the tape to him yet but I figure with his tines still good he was around 135 inches or so.
Zambo
Well, that's a sad way for a buck to see the end. With all the coyotes, traffic, hunters, poachers, and mother nature all working against a buck, it's why so few of them reach maturity and trophy size. I'm glad you found him, at least you will be able to enjoy him.
hoosierhunter
I have about 50-60 trail cams of him. The neighbor that hit him is actually a family friend and once returns from spring break I will give him the deer. We did call to tell him I have a suprise for him but didn't tell him what it was.
