dsharp01
I'm looking for a good recoil pad to replace the stock on my Remington 870 Express Magnum 12 gauge and on a youth 870 20 gauge. Any recommendations??............ I was looking at the Super Cell pads from Remington.
dbHunterNY
supercell will work well and limbsaver also makes one that just slips on.
wtnhunt
Super cell or a pachmayr, should have ready to fit for those guns. Would never buy another sims limbsaver pad, one on my 1300 was junk within one year.

The limbsaver pad on my 1300 is like tarry rubber, sticks to everything and leaves goooey rubber behind anywhere you set it down and has even left the mess on my clothes from shouldering the gun. Really need to find a replacement for it.

wtnhunt
seems kind of odd, but yea that's no good! Just out of curiousity pulled a google search on "limbsaver pad problems" and appears this is not an uncommon problem. And NO it is not good at all.
