turningcustomcalls
I have a QAD Pro HD and when I come to full draw it makes a noticable clicking noise. I have a couple friends who have the same rest and their's do not make the noise. Couple questions- has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you go about fixing it? Also, has anyone ever had to send a rest back to QAD and how is there customer service?
ruttinbuc
Isn't the rest in the up position before you draw? There should be no more travel...At least my Ultra does not appear to. Was thinking it might be a spring too tight or something like that making contact inside. Email them for an answer. RangerClay
Isn't the rest in the up position before you draw? There should be no more travel.... That's what I was thinking. Are you drawing with the fork of the rest down?
jcot2773
The rest is at 80 degrees when up. and at 90 degrees when coming to full draw. that is how it works. take it to your dealer. i know from experience, the shop i deal with called QAD and they said if he had another one on the shelf install it on the bow and they would have a new one on its way to the dealer to replace the free one he just gave out. dbHunterNY
when the rest is cocked it makes a faint click sound. other than that i don't think so.
turningcustomcalls
Thanks for your replies. I took it to my pro shop and they switched it out on the spot. Said they would ship the bad one back to QAD and said not to worry about it. Guy at the pro shop said it definetly was faulty and was about to lock up. QAD has great customer service!
