It is rough, more than I thought...but for the past 8 years she has been by my side the %80-%90 I am in bed with pain...She just did not like to leave me alone....sure am going to miss her companionship. They are always there for you no matter what happens. My lab sleeps in bed with my wife and I every night and literally he is our kid for right now. A newfoundland(Shiloh),a dog we found on a roadside,Buster(he is blue tick beagle cross) and a house dog(our little Chihuahua-13lbs.) Alli who goes everywhere that we do. I have been there two times already with my dogs and I have one now at 14 you just wonder how long she can keep going. Dogs are amazing. Cherish the memories.
