clrj3514
LOL...doubt you would want to go in business down here. We're talking the biggest city is 15 minutes away and even then, its population is only 5,000. He's gotta have a starting point

Tominator
If money wasn't an issue, something in the landscaping business. Design, installation, etc. Big scale stuff too like land development, designing and making golf courses. Either that, or farming.

stevebeilgard
I'd like to get into a local guiding thing for fishing, mostly. Looked into it and there is a lot you need to do to be legit. Then i am going to have to figure out how to catch fish. :1eye: i had your idea over 45 years ago, and did it. i outfitted deer, elk and antelope in the fall and fished in alaska all summer long. i had great booking agents who filled me up with clients. i had wonderful hunting lands where we'd see 1000 head of antelope a day and a hundred deer, and i was licensed to hunt elk inside of grand teton national park. so my hunters did well and were happy. in the summer i went to yakutat alaska, where we fished the ocean and streams literally chocked with salmon. we went a few miles out into the ocean and caught daily limits of big halibut. overall, it was just spectacular work and i made lots of money doing it. then, i had a cessna 185 on floats. it just kept getting better..... start small and go for it! 92xj
just saying that it's never too late, mike. I agree with you 100%. My earlier comment was just pickin' on you because you posted the same statement 4 times. Now that 3 of them were deleted by a mod, it kind of doesnt make sense, but it was good humor while messing with Mike.
